We serve anyone and everyone who needs to be organized from business professionals to families to new moms. We love to help everyone.
With Some Children Still at Home and Remote Learning, How Can Parents Ensure Their Child’s Virtual Learning Space is Setting Them up For Success: It’s important to create a learning space that is separate from their toys and video games. Set up in a spot where there is little distraction. Last summer for one family we set up a virtual learning space in the dining room. I had the two children decorate a privacy divider made out of cardboard. We hung their class schedule on either side of the divider so they each had their own space to learn uninterrupted.
How Can Parents Create The Ultimate Homework Station: Set up a routine for your child with a daily or weekly checklist on a dry erase board or clipboard. Eliminate clutter and distractions by creating a designated work area. We like to keep school supplies organized on a rolling cart. Dedicate homework time after school and afterward, they can play their video games!
How Do You Suggest Parents Display Their Child’s Artwork at Home: Since children are consistently bringing home new art projects, having them on a rotation display would be key. Create one area in their room or the living space where their artwork is displayed on a shelf or hung up. After some time passes, switch out with new pieces. Some parents like to create books of art from the school year as a keepsake memento. Or go digital and scan all of your child’s art to enjoy it and keep only a few favorite pieces.
What Is Your Best Tip For Parents When It Comes To Organizing Children’s Books / Bookshelf: We love to organize books by color, we love the rainbow look! Having organized many children’s rooms and playrooms over the past decade, it’s a challenge for kids to keep books put away. We have found that color-coding the books makes it easier for them to make it back on the shelf. Preschoolers are just learning to read, but color is a universal language.
Another great option is to create a reading nook. Choose a corner in your child’s room and install a small bookshelf or floating shelves. Add in a bean bag chair, a fun rug, and a lamp, and let your child know this area is reserved for quiet time. It’s their very own COZY reading nook!
How Does an Organized Space /Learning Environment Affect a Preschoolers Learning Process: An organized space without clutter and distractions makes all the difference in a learning environment. At that age, kids are developing fundamental skills that will stick with them forever. Developing these good habits will help kids to stay focused and prioritize learning.
