Meet Cece.
When Cece was 4.5, her mom, Ellie, signed her up for Preschool Readers. Ellie shared, “Cecilia was very interested in reading from a young age, and we wanted to foster her drive to learn. Luckily, we found Preschool Readers!”

Cece was not yet reading when Preschool Reading Specialist, Ms. Katie, administered her initial assessment.
Cece had strong pre-reading skills but was not yet reading fluently.

Cece is currently in Phase Three and is reading on a beginning second-grade reading level!
Ellie shared, “She is now an amazing reader, and even spends time reading books every night to her two younger sisters.”

Not only does she know her sight words, but while reading, she uses strategies like thinking about what makes sense, reading through the whole word, and making connections to her own life! I am so proud of Cecilia’s progress and impressed with her growth over the past year.”
