Meet Rohan.
Rohan’s mom signed him up for Preschool Readers because she “wanted to give Rohan a strong foundation and confidence that he can be a good reader.”

Rohan was not yet reading when Preschool Reading Specialist, Ms. Julia, administered his initial reading assessment.
Rohan was quiet but attended to tasks and worked hard throughout the assessment. He was eager to sound out words and use his knowledge of letters. Rohan looked to Ms. Julia for help when he was unsure of himself but always did his best to try things on his own first.

After the assessment, we were happy to report Rohan was ready to begin reading instruction. We emailed Mom to let her know the next step would be to schedule his weekly 30-minute in-home reading sessions. Mom responded, “Rohan’s session with Julia went well.” And they signed up!

Rohan quickly moved through Phase One, and now, in Phase Two, Rohan is reading at a first-grade reading level.

Mom states “We are very impressed with the Preschool Readers program. Ms. Julia’s weekly sessions are fun-filled and engaging. New information is shared with Rohan via interesting games. Between sessions, we review flashcards and use virtual and print materials to reinforce learning.”
